- Nose
- Shy. With an unpleasant turpentine note. Cardboardy as well. Opens on nicer notes. Lemon zest. Vanilla pod. All light and restrained.
- Palate
- Mellow and round. A lovely silky feel. Very fruity. Tinned peach. Vanilla
custard. Passion fruit.
- Finish
- Drying on spices. With character.
- Comment
- Nose and palate are completely different. The second saving the first. The palate shows a beautiful Irish character whereas the nose is bland. So drink it without nosing it.

- Nose
- Nose Takes its time but there is vanilla and citrus. A sherry mellowness as well. There is a little bitterness as well.
- Palate
- Bags of fruit going on here. Pears in custard, Chantilly cream, lime and
pomegranates as well.
- Finish
- Shortish and spicy.
- Comment
- There is none of the bitterness on the palate, making for a tale of two halves.
