At first butterscotch Angel Delight, Harrogate toffee and some milk chocolate and raisins. A little whiff of smoke too.
Big and mouth coating with that caramel, toffee sweetness. There are also plenty of dried fruits and a little hint of fresh ground coffee.
Long and warming, spiced.
A lovely example of a balanced aged whisky.
