Nose
Orange brandy and quince liqueur. Nutmeg and star anise, then Pears soap. Dilution brought out cola cubes, Dr Pepper and aniseed balls.
Palate
Rye toast with redcurrant jelly. Shiny red apple skin and orris root. With water, ribs marinated in tamarind and cherry cola. Candy cigarettes and a bark like heat, then crispy bacon rind.
Finish
A tingling spice and massive finish.
Comment
Indulgent and slightly dangerous - delicious.

Nose
A big, corn fat, oily, youthful nose. Slightly spirity and a little on the tart side with brittle honey, caramel oak and smoke.
Palate
Soft and very toffeed. A little flabby and very corny. A little youthful spirit and oily spices can be discerned beneath the weight of oak – just!
Finish
Good length with lingering oily caramel. The oak bitters at the death.
Comment
Four Grains? All I get is corn.
