- A field of straw stubble drying in the sun.
- Palate
- Silky. Grassy. Nutty. Bean-sprouts.
- Finish
- Ground white pepper. Long. Lingering.
- Comment
- I thought the earlier, younger bottling had more vigour.

- Young slightly immature. Barley sugar/boiled sweets, slightly artificial. Water removes the harshness, leaving some peach, though the confected Irn-Bru type note remains.
- Palate
- Light and a little thin. There's some orange and marzipan in the middle, but its hard round the edges.
- Finish
- Short and a little sour.
- Comment
- Well enough made, just insubstantial.
