Nose
A field of straw stubble drying in the sun. Palate
Silky. Grassy. Nutty. Bean-sprouts. Finish
Ground white pepper. Long. Lingering. Comment
I thought the earlier, younger bottling had more vigour.
Dave Broom
Nose
Young slightly immature. Barley sugar/boiled sweets, slightly artificial. Water removes the harshness, leaving some peach, though the confected Irn-Bru type note remains. Palate
Light and a little thin. There's some orange and marzipan in the middle, but its hard round the edges. Finish
Short and a little sour. Comment
Well enough made, just insubstantial.
