- Nose
- Barley sugar and nuts,slightly burnt orange. A strange slightly oxidised note akin to Tokay or some fortified
wine. Woodglue. Berocca!
- Palate
- Very sweet and quite thick.Oxidised, grassy.Sweetens with water yet still a slightly nagging quality.
- Finish
- Marizpan and a hint of Brasso.
- Comment
- The spirit is good but the cask seems tohaveoverlaid slightly odd aromas.

- Nose
- Light and tangy. Floral,Breton prune flan (far aux pruneaux).A sweet note of rum. Gets fruitier and fruitier.Very fragrant and appetizing.Then comes a big whiff of cinnamon.
- Palate
- Prickly,dry, aggressive. Very oaky. Polished floor. Does not follow the nose. Burnt wood. Unusual woody notes.Nothing else behind.
- Finish
- Dry,spicy
- Comment
- An enticing nose and a back to floor palate.
