- Nose
- Unusual. It's like being on a building site. Mix of wet plaster, paint and
varnish. Then opens on baking notes. Short crust pastry coming straight from the oven.Cherry stones.
- Palate
- Smooth,a bit soft. The same aromatic display as on the nose. With more wood but not the usual flavours of oak.
- Finish
- Dry with more nerve than at start.
- Comment
- An aromatised whisky ? Odd,rather well constructed but leave a sickening
feel. Like a cough syrup.

- Nose
- Seriously weird. Children's oil paint. Pastry. A touch of eucalyptus and
menthol. Handbaggy.
- Palate
- A much bigger hit of the eucalyptus and menthol, then some mandarin
and apricot. Tastes very unlike most whiskies though, and the oil paint's still
in there.
- Finish
- All change! Suddenly takes a puckering astringency to end with.
- Comment
- Strewth! If their cricket team doesn't have more depth than this, the Ashes are ours again.
