Nose
Delicate, a bit shy. Gingerbread. Parma violet. Sweet potato. Hay, dry flowers. Water brings out a touch of varnish. Palate
Fresh and straightforward. A malty touch then seems to rush through to a very spicy end. Finish
Gingery, dry. Hefty. Comment
A strange fellow. As if all was delivered in a dash. Then the finish seems to never end.
Dave Broom
Nose
Young and crisp. Green apple, green plum/plum stone, wet grass, cut flowers. A firm oaky counterpoint with hints of porridgy malt. Palate
Medium-bodied. Peppery, vibrant. Good weight filling it out. Sweet and well balanced. Spreads well on the palate. Good grip. Finish
Clean, soft grassiness. Comment
A wee charmer.
