61- Nose
- Odd. Like an old-fashioned sweet shop. Fragrant, candy floss, boiled sweets, jam skimmings, oak, acacia honey. It somehow smells sticky.
- Palate
- Alcopop. Whisky and Red Bull? Destroyed by water. A light distillate with that slightly artificial-seeming fragrance overlaid.
- Finish
- Short.
- Comment
- This is weird.

- Floral, sharp. Obviously young. Very close to a new spirit aromatic profile. Green oak, fresh lemon juice.
- Palate
- Smooth, silky. The same impression of youth. Slightly burning but also refreshing. Aniseed. A touch of pear nectar.
- Finish
- Short, quickly vanishing.
- Comment
- Why bottle a whisky so young? Or has it matured in a tired cask? Disappointing.
