Nose
Freshly-made toast. Brandy snap. Palate
Candy-floss (cotton-candy). Powdered sugar. Turkish delight. Pistachio nuts. Banana. Finish
Light but long. Lemony balancing dryness. Comment
Very sweet. Definitely a dessert whisky.
Jim Murray
Nose
Feintiness on the nose which gives a fat and oily shape to the aroma. A sprig of mint and a dash of menthol combine with soft oak. Palate
Dry, oily, feinty start with a surge of rich malt. Finish
Sugared almonds and toast combine with the softest hinty of cocoa. Long and oily but the highlight of the experience. Comment
Not the greatest malt I have tasted from this distillery but the finish saves it.
