Nose
Camphor, hints of peat and loads of vanilla. Palate
A full on tongue riot as melons and custard creams go at it big time. Finish
The lurking peat finally makes itself felt. Comment
A very enjoyable, no nonsense malt.
Dave Broom
Nose
Estery. Hint of putty, cake mix, macadamia, lawnmower box. Then dry oak, pencil shavings, nectarine and light (dried) floral notes. Palate
Starts all delicate and perfumed then firmsup. Lean and balanced with a zesty citric lift and touches of nougat, clean oak and vanilla. Finish
Peppery and spicy, then shaved oak. Comment
In a Speyside mould. Well made and a good drink.
