Nose
Fragrant, with just the tiniest hint of peat. Grassy. Lemon-grass. Palate
Honeydew melons. Finish
Full. Firm. Juicy. Peachy maltiness. Comment
Beautifully balanced with toasted dryness.
Jim Murray
Nose
Slightly musty, coal-gassy, but with a sultana-currant bun, spotted dick suet doughiness. Palate
Archetypal Cooley malt intensity which clings to the mouth with a firm, fruity oiliness. One dimensional but rather tasty. Finish
Some oakiness begins to dry out the proceedings, leaving a vanilla-banana residue. Some caramel and demerara sugar adds a lingering sweetness. Comment
Hmmm...Not quite up to what it was, but still a pretty interesting and enjoyable dram.
