- Nose
- Smoky. Some phenol.
- Palate
- Silky. Sweetish. Sherryish. Syrupy.
- Finish
- Quite assertive. Late crisp oakiness. Some peatiness. Some warming alcohol. Long.
- Comment
- Very slow, long, flavour development. Gets up to speed at the very end.

- Nose
- Clean and quite creamy. Seems young. There's a hint of smoke. Not overly complex.
- Palate
- Medium-bodied with a clean honeyed palate and some peat smoke lurking in the background. Good-ish balance.
- Finish
- Long sweet and honeyed. A tickle of smoke.
- Comment
- Vivacious but no great depth.
