Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Smoky. Some phenol. Palate Silky. Sweetish. Sherryish. Syrupy. Finish Quite assertive. Late crisp oakiness. Some peatiness. Some warming alcohol. Long. Comment Very slow, long, flavour development. Gets up to speed at the very end.

Dave Broom Nose Clean and quite creamy. Seems young. There’s a hint of smoke. Not overly complex Palate Medium-bodied with a clean honeyed palate and some peat smoke lurking in the background. Good-ish balance. Finish Long sweet and honeyed. A tickle of smoke. Comment Vivacious but no great depth.
