- Nose
- Lemon curd in a wooden tub. Some cooked notes. Smoky.
- Palate
- Slippery-smooth. Astonishingly sugary. A real sugar-rush. Then buttery. Like eating breakfast pancakes with fruit.
- Finish
- Hot, fruity. Himbergeist.
- Comment
- Lochside was a capricious malt, but it is missed nonetheless.

- Nose
- Fresh with light fruits, preserved lemon, green grapes. Water tames it a little but those high-toned fruity/floral aromas dominate.
- Palate
- Incredibly sweet to start and also slightly fizzy. It's a lemon sherbet dab! Water doesn't manage to kill this zippiness though there is a slight woody edge.
- Finish
- Toasty and a little tannic.
- Comment
- Vibrant, sure wakes you up.
