Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Cereal grain. Stoney. Metallic.
Palate
Much more yielding. Lightly oily. Vanilla. Grassy. Coconut. Cherry syrup. Juicy.
Finish
Subtle. Soothing. Warming.
Comment
Less fruity than I remember. An unusual after-dinner malt.

Dave Broom

Nose
Lightly citric, then old apples (wrinkled Cox) straw, dry wood. Becomes quite sharp in time, then dusty, with notes of floor polish and yellow dusters.
Palate
Carbolic soap. A greasy feel.
Finish
Blessedly short.
Comment
Like an old dusty house that's being cleaned up for the new owners.
