Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Fresh, marshmallow, maltiness. Palate Smooth, sweetish, delicious, clean. Spun sugar. Never cloying, though. Crunchy dryness. Finish Flowery. Rose water. Briar-like dryness. Comment I had never noticed the rose water note before, I also find it in Linkwood-from the same valley.

Dave Broom Nose Soft, with those baked fruits again (peach, apple) with caramel, sticky toffee pudding and a hint of damp chamois leather. Palate Substantial and well built, the soft fruits sitting within a firm structure, and a lovely Murray mint note. Finish Nutty. Comment A cracker. Now Pernod will you please do what seagram refused to do and start selling it (and Strathisla)?
