Nose
Hugely powerful. Linseed. Leather. Palate
Big. Grassy. Sweet lemons. Finish
Syrupy. Anis. Medicinal. Hot. Comment
Very pungent and powerful for a Lowlander. Tending toward harshness. This seems typical of these last Linlithgows.
Dave Broom
Nose
Intense: grassy/sappy with greengage, hazelnut and sesame oil/olive oil? It has good weight though. Palate
Full, spicy, slightly smoky palate. It’s a whisky you feel as much as taste or nose. Finish
Clover and nut. Comment
Lovely weight and carries its age well (though dies a bit quickly in the glass).
