Arthur Motley
Nose
A pencil case: wood shavings, lead and crayons. Some orange and biscuity character. With water an intriguing aromatic herbal note – perhaps kaffir lime leaves?
Palate
Mouthfilling, fruity, and a little rubbery.
Finish
Lightly bitter and drying.
Comment
A pleasing balance of spirit and wood, but lacked complexity. Young spirit in active oak?

Nose
Round and crisp. Toasty oak, wood shavings, sacking, raffia. Slightly oily and is that a hint of smoke? Baked apple/pie crust, then green pear (immaturity).
Palate
Slightly thin and a bit flabby. Fern, then cream.
Finish
Zesty.
Comment
This just doesn't have the guts to deliver. A wee, coo’rin, timrous beastie.
