- Nose
- Malt and grain, boiled sweets. A less aromatic and interesting bouquet than Cooley's Tyrconnell.
- Palate
- Lime and biscuits washed down with cream soda.
- Finish
- Spicy and strangely dry.
- Comment
- Although it says 'pure pot still' on the label, this is a single malt, there's no unmalted barley here. At 5 or so years old this malt is still a bit green.

- Nose
- Light, nutty edge, moving into dried peach, mixed herbs, turf and wood shavings. Seems young with an aroma akin to wet pavements after the rain.
- Palate
- Buttery and tongue-coating. Sweet: a juicy centre then a crisp maltiness. Like eating Smarties.
- Finish
- Peppery and spicy.
- Comment
- Developing some weight. An older example will be interesting.
