Pleasantly mature and liberally honey infused. Hints of earth, sawdusty oak and grass with a developing sherbet lemon character. The aromas become grainy with a light dried fruit note coming through to give it an old grain whisky-like feel.
Lightly oiled Gyanan-esque dried fruit at first, then a little oak, spice and sweetness. Pleasantly deep if a little straight-forward. Lovely mouth-coating oils.
Very long, the spices really hit top gear!
It lost a few points due to its simplistic palate but apart from that it was very enjoyable.
