Nose
Light and discreet with blossom like edges. White tea with lemon, a hint of agave. Chalky and ultimately fragrant.
Palate
Clean and very pure with wild flowers and lily. Some acidity giving balance. Thicker in the centre of the tongue than you might expect.
Finish
Clean and quick.
Comment
An unexpectedly light (but well balanced) Cragganmore.

Nose
Prickly. The alcohol is aggressive. Herbal. Lemon balm. White tea. Drying hay but with a musty touch. Lemonade. Aeration tames the fieriness. Light flowery aromas.
Palate
Crisp but not as spirity as the nose would let expect. The same herbal profile as on the nose.
Finish
Short.Minty. With a dusty spices feel.
Comment
That whisky has obviously matured in a tired cask. The alcohol is not mastered. But the aromatic profile is not unpleasant.
