Nose
An abundance of fresh fruit, (plums, nectarines and red apples) some dried ginger, liquorice, a hint of malted cereal and orange blossom. With time, candied fruit and cherry sherbet.
Palate
Very sweet and malty, with barley sugar, orange cream chocolates, hints of perfumed red apple, conference pears and a little spice on the back palate.
Finish
Lingering malt notes and orchard fruit.
Comment
Balanced, fresh and fruity – a fine opening dram for the evening.

Nose
Takes a little time but caramelised walnuts come through, melted butter and sugar, cake mix, figs in syrup, barley sugar sweets.
Palate
Sweet and sour sauce, BBQ rice cakes, cookie dough, quite buttery then a little bittersweet touch just at the end.
Finish
Gentle with some spices.
Comment
Alcohol is well mastered and balanced.
