Nose
Malty and oaky. Freshly sawed oak. Opens on toffee notes and chestnut honey. More honey on time. A nutty touch. Cider apples.
Palate
Round and sweet. Very smooth texture at start then the dry spiciness gives it a harsh feel like raw silk. The same flavours as on the nose. With a spicy development.
Finish
Dry, spicy. Ground ginger.
Comment
A slightly austere character but well balanced as well.

Nose
Like walking through the woods during coppicing, sawdust, wood sap, cut green wood. Toffee pennies, fruit and nut chocolate.
Palate
Follows the cues from the nose. Soft, round and very gentle. Runny honey, rum and raisin fudge.
Finish
Dry with a little oak grip.
Comment
Well integrated and would be great for a spring walk in the woods.
