Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Cedary. Faint hint of peat. Palate Orange essence, then anise. Finish Toasted oak. Slightly sappy. Warming. Rather astringent. Comment More complex than the younger vintage.

Dave Broom Nose Mossy and nutty (pecan) with soft fruits and some smoke. Slightly hard with water: tea leaves, wholemeal toast, a spicy tobacco note. A clean, quite light spirit. Palate Spicy and sweetly concentrated: pecan pie, ripe fruits. Finish Hint of smoke. Comment Good weight, wood is beginning to show.
