- Nose
- Flowery, herbal.
- Palate
- Very light. Fresh.
- Finish
- Hint of liquorice-like sherry.
- Comment
- Perfectly pleasant but very light in flavours.
- Nose
- Unusually sherried for a Cooley blend; sweet blackcurrant jelly fruit. Pretty decent malt involvement, grapey and firm grain. Impressive.
- Palate
- Immensely rich, fruity and chewy by Cooley standards. Fine malt sweetness balances oaky dryness.
- Finish
- An oaky buzz sits well with the sweeter remnants of the fruit and malt. Slightly roasted.
- Comment
- Wonderfully balanced and quite chewy. Has shifted its shape a little: the spice now starts earlier and fizzles out before the finish.
