75- Nose
- Elegant, refined. Orange crème brûlée. Chocolate slowly shines through. Beeswax.
- Palate
- Silky, very sensuously coating the mouth. Slightly clinging to the palate. Candied orange. Marmalade. Cloves and cinnamon. Very rich.
- Finish
- Drier, Seville oranges, a touch of liquorice.
- Comment
- An elegant dram, dominated by orange and spices. For a Christmas treat? Water is not needed.

- Ripe, very sweet and long. Toasted/polished oak, light resin notes, nutmeg.
- Palate
- Still sweet: a soft start, vanilla custard, a hint of dried fruit, baked banana, cinnamon, vanilla. Honeyed centre. Toasted, indeed roasted, wood gives much needed grip.
- Finish
- Membrillo.
- Comment
- Exuberant, sweet and extremely well balanced. A great introduction to whisky.
