Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Sherry, honey, lemons, buttercups. Palate Seductively soft and honeyed, with flowery lemon and camomile emerging. Finish Smooth, appetising. A teasing balance of sweetness and dryness. Comment The flowery youth of the whisky and the freshness of the sherry cask achieve an interesting harmony.

Jim Murray Nose Elegant and fluting, the soft grapes mingle in faultless harmony with the deeper malts and gentle oak. Understated and effortlessly complex. Palate Immediately embracing and surprisingly spicy, there is a surge of roasty malt which never succumbs to the succulent grape. Fabulous mouthfeel: slightly oily and viscous. Finish A buzzing of soft spices and some cocoa-vanilla notes complete an impressive act. Comment This is the sublime to the other’s ridiculous.
