- Nose
- Lightly fragrant, with grass, camomile and mint.
- Palate
- Light, flowery and dry. Camomile and spearmint. Very distinctive, but slightly spirity.
- Finish
- Potpourri, flowery, slightly sharp.
- Comment
- Rosebank is a delicate whisky, but just a touch more wood-extract would hold together its flavours.

- Nose
- Horribly unbalanced mixture of new make and sappy oak. The malt is merely incidental.
- Palate
- Sweet, malty and, er, that's it .
- Finish
- Almost sickly sweet. The oak remains off-key.
- Comment
- The label quotes my devotion to Rosebank at 8 years. I'm not devoted to it in this form. The cask this malt was filled into must have been exhausted as the whisky is closer to a 2 Years Old in character. The only good point is that there are no off notes.
