Nose
Tarte au citron.
Palate
Nutty. Almonds. Drying to become slightly bitter.
Finish
Spicy dryness. Especially nutmeg.
Comment
Very sophisticated bittersweet flavours. Adults only.

Dave Broom

Nose
Complex with good weight. Apple (dried), light spice, hard toffee, dried pear, raspberry. Elegant.
Palate
Medium to full-bodied with a sweet centre of summer fruits. Cooked apple, poached pear.
Finish
Long. Creamy.
Comment
Why isn't Linkwood rated as a top-class distillery? I feel another campaign coming on.
