Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Lightly herbal with a sweet and silky undertow. In the estery world: fresh pineapple green grape, Vibrant. Palate Very sweet. White fruits, pear and stewed apple, ginger beer/old-fashioned lemonade. Sweet centre. Heats up a little to the end. Easily drowned. Finish Creamy, but quick. Comment An aperitif dram.

Arthur Motley Nose Waxy appleskins, mango lassi and pineapple cubes. Watermelon sweets. Hot summer fields, and sun-baked wood. Palate Toffeeish, fruity and oaky. That watermelon seemed to come back. Finish Dry grassiness. Comment Stood up well in a tasting with lots of old whisky. Another of the un-sung distilleries that made an engaging spirit.
