Oily and rich and - in typical Japanese style - intense. Higher strength as well. Light smoke and hinoki wood/cedar.
Rounded and typically scented with a distinct salty edge and big rich fruit that drifts towards raspberry jam. Supple. Water allows riper fruits to come through and eases the tension and the oils then flow.
Touch of scented oak.
Richness and power.

Takes a little while to open but then reveals sherry and a big smack of orange zest. There is something cedar box lurking as well.
The palate continues the sweet citrus theme, with a hint of walnuts, salted almonds and honeyed apples.
Lush and rich.
Great package and great liquid.
