- Nose
- Clean, fragrant and herbal. Weighty with subtle citrus oils mixed with a saline note. Smoke drifts in the background.
- Palate
- Light. Seems shy with a fresh acidity. Tinned fruits then the salt and deep smoke. smouldering away.
- Finish
- Bone dry.
- Comment
- Not the biggest Brora but a good one.

- Nose
- Pungent. Slightly spirity and sharp. Straw, cowshed by the sea. Touch of bitumen and cresote.
Opens on fruity notes. Peaches in syrup, pears and vanilla.
- Palate
- Sweet at start then bursting out on the tongue. Minty and creamy.
- Finish
- Spicy,fizzy. Fruity aftertaste.
- Comment
- Surprising. The nose is more appealing than the palate. A cardboardy flavour when water added.Disappointing.
