Nose
Clean, fragrant and herbal. Weighty with subtle citrus oils mixed with a saline note. Smoke drifts in the background.
Palate
Light. Seems shy with a fresh acidity. Tinned fruits then the salt and deep smoke. smouldering away.
Finish
Bone dry.
Comment
Not the biggest Brora but a good one.

Nose
Pungent. Slightly spirity and sharp. Straw, cowshed by the sea. Touch of bitumen and cresote. Opens on fruity notes. Peaches in syrup, pears and vanilla.
Palate
Sweet at start then bursting out on the tongue. Minty and creamy.
Finish
Spicy,fizzy. Fruity aftertaste.
Comment
Surprising. The nose is more appealing than the palate. A cardboardy flavour when water added.Disappointing.
