Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Restrained. Sweet. Nutty. Smoky.
Palate
Almond essence. Vanilla. Corn muffins.
Finish
Toasty. Crisp.
Comment
Biscuits and gravy and a shot of Charter 12. The breakfast of champions.

Dave Broom

Nose
Cooked fruits, bitter orange/orange pulp, rum and raisin. Almost leathery notes. Pipe smoke, allspice.
Palate
Sweet and deep, but with very pure flavours. Grilled nut. Old-fashioned rose. Ripe.
Finish
Begins to dry. Shows some good maturity.
Comment
A well-made, serious bourbon. One for cigars.
