Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Jam. Fruit. An apricot danish. Still at breakfast?
Palate
Vanilla. Cream. Bread pudding. Gentle flavours, but delivered in an intense concentration.
Finish
Sappy. Fresh. Oak. Bittersweet.
Comment
Finally made it to lunch.

Dave Broom

Nose
Lean and sappy. Quite intense: white pepper, powdered ginger/coriander. Softens slightly into toffee apple, toasted tea cake, cigar box.
Palate
Soft, syrupy feel within a pretty firm, dry structure. Serious.
Finish
Spices and oak.
Comment
Old fashioned in every sense and none the worse for that.
