Martine Nouet
Nose
Restrained at first. Creamy and fruity. Stewed apricots in vanilla and spices. Milk chocolate. Slowly reveals its complexity.
Palate
Round, unctuous at start, then becoming sherbety, somewhat fizzy. Lots of dried fruit. Liquorice. A kentuckied cognac?
Finish
Long, drying, spicy (coriander, ginger) with a slight astringence. Touch of passion fruit.
Comment
Surprising. Seems subdued at first, then shines through when oxygenated.

Nose
Soft and very gentle. Peanut brittle, sloe berry. Orange Pekoe tea, privet blossom, dry spices, caramelised orange. Subtle and balanced.
Palate
A slow soft start. Sweet tobacco. Ripe black fruits. Orange peel. Long and generous.
Finish
Long and sweet.
Comment
The softest and least in-yer-face. Just a slow steady flow of flavour. Recommended.
