78- Nose
- Touch of freshly varnished wood. Dried cherry, cumin seed and some hickory with underlying sweetness. It becomes jammy and almost damson like, but always a deep scented oak. Water brings out caraway seed.
- Palate
- The perfumed note carries on. Lemon balm and zesty spiciness. Quite high tannins. Cigar smoke and drywood. Water lightens and smoothes.
- Finish
- Hints of bitter cherry stone.
- Comment
- Assertive but balanced.

- Beeswax polish; tinned peach, spice.
- Palate
- Classic sweet candy then swings left with a hit of oak and rye.

- Sharp but nice sugar and spice balance and a dash of anisette for good measure.

- Classic old fashioned style bourbon and nothing wrong with that.
