- Nose
- Perfumy. Again vetiver, galangal, sandalwood. Opening on chocolate.
Rich, dense, complex. Has hints of fading rose.
- Palate
- Crisp and dry. Immediate oak but integrated with dried fruit. Dates,
sultanas. Chocolate toffee. Caramelised apples.
- Finish
- Dry, slightly astringent.
- Comment
- Another bourbon? A bit austere but elegant and complex. I found more
pleasure on nosing than tasting.

- Nose
- Heavily perfumed with dark treacle notes, burnt sugars. Some floral notes.
A dry almost bitter wood note.
- Palate
- That oaky note comes through but there is a herbal edge as well, almost
mint. Those treacle notes and more bittersweet wood notes simply add
to the layers.
- Finish
- Dry and herbal.
- Comment
- Different for a bourbon in a good balanced way. One for
late night nightcaps.
