Tasting Notes

Gavin Smith Nose Sweet, breakfast muesli with fresh fruit and milk. The smoke is so reticent you could miss it. Palate The 'breakfast' nose comes through, with a little more banana, and the same shy smoke. Finish Elegantly fruity, with a little more smoke at the last. Comment Lightweight, but very drinkable.

Dave Broom Nose Sweet. Cereal, Sugar Puffs, banana, nuts, violet, sesame. Gentle smoke. Delicate and pretty. Palate Gentle, light and smooth. Kiln-like with notes of bran along with lychee and apricot. A smoky centre. Precise. Finish Nutty. Light smoke. Comment A good aperitif. Strangely like a Rockley Still rum.
