- Nose
- Singed, like a burning carpet, or burning hair (maybe a flaming toupee?) Malty, with cocoa nibs and an earthy weight.
- Palate
- A similarly charred start. Clean enough, with a burnt almond edge. Grippy but it is killed with the addition of water.
- Finish
- Firm and nutty.
- Comment
- Don't get me wrong, there's nothing bad with this it's just amazingly bland.

- Nose
- Metallic and meat: like the roasting tin as you pull out the joint of pork. Grassy, citric and a bit earthy.
- Palate
- Baked ham, toffee and some tinned peaches.
- Finish
- Spices, perhaps morrocan.
- Comment
- OK, fine, solid. Whisky should be more though, right?
