Nose
Tobacco pouch and crisp wood with some signs of maturity. Black banana and a herbal note. Oak driven. Palate
Sweet start banana and raspberry sweets. The oak is quite grippy but not unpleasantly so. Oranges and a silky texture. Long and juicy. Finish
Soft and then drying and then returns to an apricot note and some cocoa. Comment
All comes together at the end.
Arthur Motley
Nose
Light fruity notes such as honeydew melon, pineapple and lychee are underpinned by a wax jacket/candlewax element. White chocolate and some drying spice. The chlorine whiff of a swimming pool possibly there too. Palate
Pineapple and nutmeg spice. Finish
Chocolate. Comment
Good complexity and typical of this hearty distillery.
