Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Peaty and slightly briny. Oily notes once more. Dry leaves lanolin mint and ginger beer. Palate Medicinal. Chocolate orange. Smoke returns to balance things on the finish. Very interesting. Finish Fruity and sweet. Comment This has it all but goes about it in an unflashy manner. Good.

Arthur Motley Nose Sweet mint, some basil and creamy vanilla. Some cereal husk. Apples and lime and an elegant smoke. A little linseed. Palate More sweet mint, some dark chocolate and lots of vanilla. Bright yellow vanilla ice cream. Finish Gentle smoke and some wood-spice. Comment Good complexity, structure and balance of smoke, spice and sweetness.
