Nose
Cream and tangerine peel with some ras el hanout, dried thyme, coal smoke. With water there’s toasted oak then coconut wax. Lightly earthy. Coal smoke. Palate
As expected, a big creamy hit with a silky feel to start;the dry but fragrant spices hitting on the back, though the oak creaks through to dominate slightly. Not a lot in the middle. Finish
Dryslightly smoky. Comment
Shows maturity but very front loaded.

Nose
Perfumy. Freshly cut wood. But an unusual wood aroma. Then opens up on fruit. Reminds of the spicy candies that are served in Indian restaurants after the meal. Palate
Sweeter than expected. Wood is well integrated but perceptible. Bee wax. Spicy. Cinnamon. Finish
Medium length. Nutty. Ends on a bitter note (walnut peel). Comment
An unusually fragrant dram. Palate does not totally follow though.
