Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Fragrant. Custard and créme brûlée, quince, baked apple (almost the pastry of an apple pie as well). Hint of vetiver. Balanced oak. Palate Gentle and soft in feel. Lightly sugary with a hint of mint and plenty of floral character. Balanced. Finish Long quitesweet. Comment Well balanced and with real charm and some complexity.

Martine Nouet Nose Sweet, clean bouquet of autumn fruit. Ripe apples, cooking pears, a touch of grape. All framed by an elegant oakiness. In the back, a hint of toasted bun. A citrussy note. Palate Beautifully balanced. Smooth and velvety. The flavours open like a blossoming flower: gently, displaying interlaced fruit and oak. Finish Creamy, toffeish, with just a dry spicy punctuation. Comment Mature, balanced, elegant.
