- Nose
- Deep, with toffee, sealing wax/teak oil, some spice (cumin and coriander). Water exposes the oak.
- Palate
- Lots of cask activity. Digestive biscuit, macadamia.Sugar and black cherry shifting into tobacco. Lots of oak but a sweet spirit underneath. Has age.
- Finish
- A little dry,but I'm getting to like it.
- Comment
- Best neat.

- Nose
- Intense, fruity. Pleasant after a slightly cheesy but quickly fading touch. Cider apple. Turkish delight.
Sesame nougat.
- Palate
- Sweet at first then the alcohol bite sharpens the sensation. Butterscotch. Spicy dryness. Tabasco.Touch of orange gingerbread.
- Finish
- Dry with a leafy note.
- Comment
- Seems to hesitate between sweet and dry. Water gets the balance right.
