- Nose
- Lemon grass. Banana leaves. Coconut ice-cream.
- Palate
- Big flavours. Sweet, then vegetal, then creamy, then hot. A suggestion of chilli peppers.
- Finish
- Stinging. Bring on the Thai food.
- Comment
- Astonishingly full in both body and flavour for a grain whisky.

- Nose
- Very soft and sweet. Some tinned pineapple, then menthol. With water there's banana, tropical fruit (passion fruit) and pear. High-toned and sweet.
- Palate
- Tightly focussed on to the front and centre of the palate. Menthol returns along with high citrus tones. Plenty of vanilla.
- Finish
- Clean and short.
- Comment
- Light and smooth and balanced. A crowd pleaser.
