- Nose
- Cress, Jif lemon, pizza dough, bran and wet grass. Lemon pith.
- Palate
- Spirity, sweet and a little bland. A faint woodiness at the end.
- Finish
- Largely absent, but a soggy biscuit character.
- Comment
- I know, I know – it's a Lowland! Still, I want a little more from a whisky. Full stop.

- Nose
- A quite distant, slightly lean, unformed nose. Sugared almond, fondant icing, pear drop, muddy field, peanut skin.
- Palate
- Fine-boned and intense. Good quite vibrant, youthful feel. Alcohol.
- Finish
- Very short.
- Comment
- Not much interaction between spirit and wood immature. Light and clean but lacking in oomph.
