- Nose
- Pale and rather feeble. Plastic.
- Palate
- Very light though with a certain sweetness. It's either young or knackered. In time there's some white
bread soaked in milk. Lacking in almost everything.
- Finish
- There isn't one.
- Comment
- Absolutely no cask interaction, making this the polar opposite of the last quartet. In a way this is a very
instructive tasting.

- Nose
- Prickly, the alcohol bites. Citrussy. The whole lemon :juice, pulp and rind. An earthy touch. Garden thyme. All that makes a pleasant combination but a bit one dimensional.
- Palate
- The alcohol bite again! The spirit dances on the tongue but with high heel shoes ! Then a sweet malty
flavours soothes the tastebuds.
- Finish
- Soothing,with an almondy aftertaste.
- Comment
- Invigorating but quite sharp. Like a Northern wind on a frosty morning. If you need to wake up.
