Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Nutty. Broom. Vanilla. Palate Clean, sweet, nutty, sherry, honey. Oily. Finish Peat-smoke and salt. Very long. Therapeutic. Comment More distillery character than a 15 Years Old indentified as “sherry-aged” that I tasted some months ago.

Jim Murray Nose Highly perfumed, a heady infusion of sweet bourbony drier herbal notes. Palate Big oak kick dominates over roast malt and spices. Finish Sweet vanilla towards finish, some hickory lingers with the oak. Comment Tastes a lot older than its 15 years and has lost a lot of character due to slight over maturation.
