- Nose
- Nutty. Broom. Vanilla.
- Palate
- Clean, sweet, nutty, sherry, honey. Oily.
- Finish
- Peat-smoke and salt. Very long. Therapeutic.
- Comment
- More distillery character than a 15 Years Old identified as “sherry-aged” that I tasted some months ago.
70
- Nose
- Highly perfumed, a heady infusion of sweet bourbony drier herbal notes.
- Palate
- Big oak kick dominates over roast malt and spices.
- Finish
- Sweet vanilla towards finish, some hickory lingers with the oak.
- Comment
- Tastes a lot older than its 15 years and has lost a lot of character due to slight over maturation.
