Nose
A sour note at start. Cow milking station. Then exotic fruit. Caramelised pineapple, dry coconut. Tamarind juice.
Palate
Syrupy. Mouth-coating. Sweet but with a good balance between sweet and sour. Coconut flan. Fresh ginger
Finish
Balanced. Sappy. Hint of mint and ginger.
Comment
Forget about the first nose and enjoy that luscious exotic profile. But no water, thank you.

Nose
Oily, big and peachy (and come to think of it, beachy). Whisky-saturated barrels. A strangely appetising mix of apricot, ripe fruit and wet oilskins.
Palate
Lush and rounded with a rich, deep almost leathery structure. Unctuous and fruity. Balanced.
Finish
Big, long and oily.
Comment
Seems like a younger whisky, if so it has held its own very well in some pretty extraordinary company.
