Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Enticing, elegantly fruity. Apple and quince jelly. Barley sugar. Honey syrup. Strawberry shortcake. Sawdust. Oak notes unwind lazily. Palate Crisp and clean. Warm straw. Wood and fruit well integrated. Stewed apples and pears, a soft wave of black pepper. Perfectly balanced. Finish Drier. Spicy. Sticking to the palate. Comment A great combination of complexity and simplicity. A liquid fruit basket. Yummy.

Dave Broom Nose Cooked pear/apple, peach, quince, light vanilla pod. Some spice. Slight oilskin note. Fresh. Palate Distinct salt spray tingle, lightly nutty. Fresh, chalky but with depth. Very rich central weight, Liqueur Tokay. plump pulp fruits. Finish Tingling, dare I say salty freshness, then spice and the fruit comes back. Comment A complex, paradoxical individual for complex individuals.
