Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Full and lightly nutty, then a heavy floral fragrance, spiced bun, stewed peaches, apricot stone and then an oily/fruity mix Palate Concentrated semi-caramelised fruits, cocoa butter, then ground nutmeg. Reminds you of waxed fruit. Water helps to smooth things. Finish Fruit smoothie. Comment A slightly odd melange of flavours and textures...but it works.

Arthur Motley Nose Mouth-watering stawberries Chewitts and lime juice, hot hay and a little dusty, mustiness. Blossom. Real rope, such as is found on Tall Ships. Liquorice. Palate Lots of fruit, with strawberries and peaches particularly, squished over an oaky background. Finish That lingering, grippy oak. Comment Complex and changeable in the glass. Not only very tasty, but interesting.
