80- Nose
- Full and lightly nutty, then a heavy floral fragrance, spiced bun, stewed peaches, apricot stone and then an oily/fruity mix.
- Palate
- Concentrated semi-caramelised fruits, cocoa butter, then ground nutmeg. Reminds you of waxed fruit. Water helps to smooth things.
- Finish
- Fruit smoothie.
- Comment
- A slightly odd melange of flavours and textures...but it works.

- Mouth-watering strawberries, Chewitts and lime juice, hot hay and a little dusty, mustiness. Blossom. Real rope, such as is found on Tall Ships. Liquorice.
- Palate
- Lots of fruit, with strawberries and peaches particularly, squished over an oaky background.
- Finish
- That lingering, grippy oak.
- Comment
- Complex and changeable in the glass. Not only very tasty, but interesting.
